212° Hotpot

Good place for a chinese-style hotpot. I have tried all favors except for the vegan one. I love kimchi and cheesy one!

The service was very college town - meaning laid back and chill. Which is awesome. Having too many visits and the awkward pushed out smiles and conversations with wait staff will be last thing I needed while I was detoxing all the stress accumulated from work and the LA city life. I had a great meal with my family during our visit to Isla Vista. I wish there were eateries as diverse as now when I was at UCSB. It is wonderful to see the cureent students have better and more option to dine than what we had before. The flavors of all four choices were right on. My family wants to revisit the place for sure. Of course blaze pizza is another good option next to this place.

If you never try hot and spicy food, don’t order the hottest one :D

glad there's even a personal hot pot option thats nearby. taste is similar to what i've had, servers are friendly. obviously very busy since they barely opened. prices are reasonable considering they probably have to get many asian products from LA. overall happy that a place like this would even open in SB!

Newly personal hotpot that opened in IV, just had their soft opening. Like any new restaurant, they have their like kinks here and there that needs to be fixed, but overall; the food is very delicious.

The food came out really fast and it tasted awesome. Customer service was little lacking but it was good. I will go back to this place soon or later :)

I have only been once so far but the prices are great and the food is very tasty. The only 2 things that were not good was, first the music. It was NOT fitting ofnthe restaurant at all. It was dark and very downer music or old 7p's rock. Definitely not a hotpot soundtrack. And second, drinks only come in cans or bottles. Not fountain drinks or tea. Especially when eating hotpot, you would like to have refillable drinks on hand.

Huge portion sizes to fulfill your voracious appetite at reasonable prices in IV.

+ Near the university area so almost all the patrons and workers are students+ Easy fast, casual dining experience -- pay/order first and find a table+ Very spacious with plenty of seating+ Restrooms are out back and a little hard to find+ LOVE their sauces here!+ The individual hot pots are very generous + Beef hot pot was pretty bland and disappointing. The broth was very plain.+ Curry hot pot was tastier but also not my favorite
